Who is responsible

Photoboothsoftware.eu is a product of MADA Tech, Lauwers 9, 9405 BL Assen, Chamber of Commerce number 88935361. For privacy-related questions: info@madabooth.nl.

For photos and guest data on a photo booth, the customer is the data controller and MADA Tech acts as the data processor. For this website and customer administration, MADA Tech is the data controller.

What data we process

• Customer data: company name, contact person, email address, telephone number, address, VAT number and billing details.
• Usage data: login times, device status, error messages and photo booth logs, as required for support and security.
• Guest data: photos and videos from photo sessions, and optionally an email address or telephone number if the guest wants to receive the photo or consents to receiving news.
• Website data: information you enter in the contact or registration form.

Purposes and legal grounds

• Performance of the agreement: account, photo booths, billing and support.
• Legitimate interest: security, troubleshooting, fraud prevention and software improvement.
• Consent: sharing photos, participating in a photo competition and receiving news. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
• Legal obligation: administration and statutory tax retention periods.

Retention periods

Guest photos are stored for as long as specified by the customer. By default, a retention period is set for each event, after which images are automatically deleted. Customer data is retained for up to thirty days after the subscription ends, invoices for seven years due to statutory tax retention requirements, and logs for a maximum of ninety days.

Sharing with third parties

Data is only shared with suppliers required to provide the service, including the hosting provider, email service provider and payment service provider Stripe. Data processing agreements have been concluded with all these parties. Processing takes place within the European Union. No data is sold.

Security

Access is provided through personal accounts with assigned roles and permissions, traffic is encrypted using TLS, photos are protected by secure links, and access to management features is logged. Photo booths store images locally in encrypted form until they have been synchronized.

Data subject rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to and transfer your data. Guests can request the deletion of their photo through the event organizer or via info@madabooth.nl. Complaints can be submitted to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Cookies

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. The admin area only uses functional storage to keep you logged in and remember your preferences.
