Android: install the photo booth app

1. Request the APKRequest the APK via contact. You will receive a personalised download link.
2. Allow installationGo to Settings, Apps, Special app access, Install unknown apps, and allow access for your browser.
3. Grant permissionsAllow access to the camera, storage and Start on boot when launching the app for the first time.
4. Connect the boothEnter the screen pairing code under Booths in the management portal.
5. Lock kiosk modeLock the app using Screen pinning or an MDM profile, and disable auto-rotate and sleep mode.

iOS and iPadOS

• Once the app is available in the App Store, install it like a regular app
• Enable Guided Access under Settings, Accessibility, so guests cannot exit the app
• Set Auto-Lock to Never and disable notifications during a session
• Want to test it on an iPad now? Request a TestFlight spot from support

Manage from your phone or tablet

1. No app requiredOpen app.madabooth.nl/admin and select Add to Home Screen. The management portal will then work like an app.
2. Log inUse your own account. View sessions, photos, revenue and issues live.
3. Start the booth without a touchscreenUse Pair with phone and scan the QR code on the booth screen.

Troubleshooting

Issue	Solution
APK is blocked	Allow installation from unknown sources for the browser you use to download the APK
Tablet goes to sleep during an event	Disable sleep mode and keep the tablet connected to a charger while in use
Guests exit the photo booth app	Enable screen pinning or Guided Access
Photos aren't coming through	The app stores everything locally and syncs as soon as Wi-Fi is available again
