Windows: Install MADA Booth

Install Capture

1. Download the setup and extract the fileDownload MADABoothSetup2026.8.1.zip and extract it. The location does not matter: the setup automatically installs the program in the right place.
2. Open the setupDouble-click MADA Booth Setup 2026.8.1.exe.
3. Seeing the "Windows protected your PC" message?No worries, our app is safe. Click More info and then Run anyway. Does Windows ask for permission? Select Yes or Allow.
4. Choose the installation locationBy default, MADA Booth is installed in C:\Program Files\MADA Booth. Want to use a different folder? Click Browse. Then click Install. Make sure you have approximately 600 MB of free disk space.
5. Wait for the installation to finishThe progress bar fills as the files are installed. This usually takes less than a minute.
6. Complete the setup wizardKeep Launch MADA Booth checked and click Finish. MADA Booth will then open directly in full-screen mode.
7. Connect the boothThe first time you launch MADA Booth, the screen displays a pairing code and a QR code. Enter the code in the dashboard under Booths, or scan the QR code with your phone. Your photo booth will then be online and ready to use.

Lock down the kiosk

• Disable sleep mode and the screen saver in Power Options, or let MADA Booth configure this automatically on first launch
• Schedule automatic Windows restarts outside your opening hours
• Use a local account without a password prompt, so the booth restarts automatically after a power outage
• Open the service menu by tapping the top left corner four times or Ctrl+Alt+S

Install Admin

1. Download the ZIP fileExtract the ZIP file for MADA Booth Admin (the location does not matter) and double-click MADA Booth Beheer Setup.exe. This setup is separate from the booth setup. Both programs can be installed on the same PC.
2. Log inUse your photoboothsoftware.eu account. Downloads and ZIP exports are saved in your Windows Downloads folder.
3. Prefer not to install anything?Admin also works directly in your browser at app.madabooth.nl/admin.

Troubleshooting

Issue	Solution
Black screen instead of the camera feed	Close any other programs using the camera and restart MADA Booth Capture
USB button does nothing	The button should be recognized as a keyboard. Test it in Notepad to see if it enters a character
Booth remains offline in the dashboard	Check the internet connection and confirm that the pairing code has been approved under Booths
Print does not come out	Test the printer in Windows first, then connect it in Print Center
